Restaurants There a number of restaurants nearby. The staff can provide details, but ‘The Lobster Trap’ on the water’s edge, 5 minutes drive from the Club is a particular favourite and for a more grand meal or coffee/drinks, the Roundhill Estate, where Ralph Lauren has a house, is well worth a visit and, again, is only a few minutes drive away. Local Attractions Other outings which guests may wish to consider include Negril, about an hour’s drive away, famous for its miles of sandy beaches, restaurants, bars and Rick’s Café with its high diving display by local Jamaicans. Other attractions include the Mayfield Falls, about an hour’s drive away through spectacular countryside and villages. These river falls, amongst the rainforest, offer visitors an exciting experience swimming in the pools and rapids, guided and encouraged by the local guides. Further afield is the famous Rose Hall Plantation which includes the Great House, an original plantation house with all the original features and Beach Club with restaurants. At Ocho Rios, about a 2 hour drive away, are the spectacular Dunn’s River Falls and Dolphin Cove for a magical experience of swimming with your own dolphin. The Club can provide details so that a booking can be arranged.
